URBAN issue e.V. (Ui)
Ui was concieved as a free space in the city. It was a space where the banal and
the ingenious had equal expression, a space for experiment rather than proven quality.
The space was run by a group of changing people, the structure was based on coincidence
without concensus.
During its 2 year existance from 1997 to 1999 (abruptly ended
by the gentrification of the building) a wide and various
program of events and exhibitions was presented to an audience
of people interested in discourse about cities.
